By commissioning a portrait from Katie Meyler, the Client is considered to have thoroughly reviewed and accepted these terms and conditions.

Please carefully review these terms and conditions. By commissioning my services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and consented to these terms and conditions.

Pricing Quotations

The prices for services offered by Katie Meyler are detailed on the pricing page of the website. Depending on any additional requests included in the commission, an exact quote will be agreed upon via email.

Shipping Costs

The Client agrees that the cost of postage will be included in the final invoice.

Submission of Reference Photos

The Client must provide suitable photographs for the commissioned work.

Commission Progress Updates

Once work begins on the Client’s portrait, Katie Meyler will provide progress photos via email, along with an estimated completion date. During this phase, minor adjustments to the design can be made. Upon completion, Katie Meyler will email the Client a photograph of the finished portrait, at which point only minor adjustments can be accommodated.

Copyright

Katie Meyler retains the copyright to the artwork created from the Client’s provided photos. The image will not be showcased or utilized on any website other than Katie Meyler’s website and art social media pages without the written consent of the Client. Katie Meyler reserves the right to feature the artwork on her website and art social media pages. If the Client prefers the artwork not to be displayed, they must specify this preference when placing the commission.

Deposit Requirement

A non-refundable deposit of 20% is necessary to secure the commission. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork, before shipping or delivery.

Payment Terms

Upon completion of the commission and before delivery, Katie Meyler will send an invoice. Full payment is required within 10 days of the invoice date. Katie Meyler accepts payment via Bank Transfer and PayPal. Please email Katie Meyler for PayPal details.

Cancellation Policy

If work on the commission has commenced and the Client decides to cancel prior to completion, Katie Meyler reserves the right to retain any non-refundable deposit paid. If the artwork is completed and the Client cancels the commission, Katie Meyler retains the right to charge 70% of the initial cost. If the Client wishes to resume the commission at a later date, they must renew their commission agreement and submit an additional non-refundable deposit.
